मनुष्य के जीवन में बहुत से ऐसे पल आते हैं जब उसे लगता है कि वह सब कुछ हार चुका है, उसका वजूद मिट चुका है । मन में ऐसे भाव आना विचार आना बुरा नहीं है किंतु इनके कारण रोना स्वयं को तकलीफ देना यह गलत है। ऐसे में हमें जरूरत है कि हम अपनी हिम्मत बांधे और लड़े उन चुनौतियों से। इसी भाव को लेखक ने कविता के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत किया है।

उम्र एक अंक है, कहते तो सब है मगर मानता कौन है, आप मानते है? काफी सुना होगा आपने भी की “अब आपसे नहीं होगा, आपकी उम्र हो गई है”। इसी उम्र की कहानी को लेखक ने बताया है, एक हास्य रूप देके । आनंद ज़रूर लीजिएगा मगर ज़रा सा सोचिएगा भी ।
